Mrs. Léa Cormier, 59, of Memramcook East passed away on Thursday, February 23, 1995 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born in Memramcook East, she was the daughter of Mrs. Annie (Richard) LeBlanc and the late Antoine LeBlanc. She was employed as a factory worker with Gagnon and Cape Bald Packers until retirement. She attended Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Memramcook East.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Aurèle Cormier; one daughter, Freda Cormier of Moncton; six sons, Roger Cormier and his wife, Monique, of Memramcook, Noël Cormier and his wife, Jeannita, of Memramcook, Ronald Cormier and his wife, Louise, of Fox Creek, Fernand Cormier and his wife, Emerise, of Memramcook East, Arthur and Larry Cormier of Moncton; one sister, Mrs Noëlla Ouellet of Moncton; three brothers, Blair LeBlanc and his wife Béatrice, Albert LeBlanc and his wife Anise, Gérard LeBlanc and his wife Roberte, all of Memramcook East; six grandchildren, Germain, Paul, Louis, Kevin, Chris and Rachel; several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, with the Funeral mass to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
